Dog Training Classes

We have a NEW LOCATION for Doggie Manners Obedience/Manners Training classes at Longwood Park in Playa Vista. There are 5 one-hour classes Tuesday evenings at 7:00p.m., and the fee is $195 for the series. There is ample free parking.

We work on basic dog obedience and manners with solutions to some common behavior problems. These are the exercises we work on in class.

• Watch me (Getting your dog's attention)
• Down and Down-stay
• Drop it (Releasing something from your dog's mouth)
• Finished (ending a behavior)
• Go to your place
• Jumping on people and furniture
• Come
• Walking beside you on leash (Heeling)
• Waiting at car and front doors, curbs, and gates
• Taking treats gently
• Leave it
• Sit and Sit-stay
• And other exercises as time permits (such as ignoring other dogs, cars, and people when your dog is walking on leash)

If you would like one private lesson and the five group classes, the combination program fee begins at $375.
