Dog Tricks and Agility Fun Classes

There are several beneficial secondary results that come from teaching your dog to perform tricks and to do the agility exercises:
The more time you spend with your dog, the greater the bond becomes between the two of you.
* Performing tricks gives your dog self confidence because of all the praise he gets when he does them.
* It gives your dog a job to do, and he becomes better behaved as a result.
* It also teaches him to learn and to think.
* You get to show off how smart he is!
* And the best result is that you and your dog will have a lot of just plain fun.
We teach a minimum of one stationary trick and one moving trick per week and also do at least one agility obstacle at each class. This is a fast-paced class, and you will be moving around!
Here is the current curriculum of tricks to be taught:
- Shake Hands
Sit Up or Sit Pretty
- Head Up and Head Down
Jump through your Arms and over your Leg
- Speak
Circle to the right and Circle to the Left
- Take a Bow
Shake his Head
Your dog will also learn how to properly use these pieces of equipment:
- Box
- Closed tunnel
- Different types of jumps
- Flat ladder
- Hoops
- Mark
- Open tunnel
- Weave poles
Call now to reserve your spot in this fun class at 9:30a.m. on October 25, 2008!
